The two projects that came out of Project M South 2009

(blank)LAB
MOBILITY + DESIGN = POSSIBILITY
Project M is rolling out a new concept of the design studio - and this time it's mobile. (blank)LAB is a bare bones mobile studio bringing designers and communities together. Building on the idea of Pie Lab, which was created by the Spring 2009 M team as an open forum for neighbors to have informal discussions over a slice of pie, the (blank)LAB's goal is to engage the communities it visits in creative collaboration. The conversations that occur when disparate groups interact, possibly for the first time, will be the catalyst for design projects that will foster positive change.

AshHoles.org
There's an Ash Hole in my backyard.
Ashholes.org is an organization of concerned citizens working to raise awareness of environmental injustice. Minority communities around the USA are often targeted as "easy solutions" to toxic problems and are much more likely to live and/or work near factories, waste facilities and landfills. We think this is unfair – we hope you do, too.
